Anna University to conduct semester exams in open-book format, check details here

The university semester exam results have been released for the BTech, BE, MTech, ME, MCA and MBA courses. For the remaining courses, the results will be announced anytime soon.

While the Anna University Result 2021 for UG/PG courses 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th-semester examinations were already declared on April 12, 2021. The University withheld the results for nearly 1.5 lakh students to double-check their indulgence in malpractice. According to the latest update, semester exams for four campuses, including the College of Engineering and Madras Institute of Technology, will be conducted in an open-book format. Students can check Anna University Result 2021 with marks and grade system on the official website. The university semester exam results have been released for the BTech, BE, MTech, ME, MCA and MBA courses. For the remaining courses, the results will be released anytime soon.

Anna University Semester Exams in Open-book Format

Meanwhile, Anna University semester exams are scheduled to be conducted in May 2021. The University decided to allow students from all semesters except the final to refer to the course material online or offline while writing the examination. Students must note that the Anna University's semester examination will be a proctored test, so group discussion will be considered malpractice.

Considering the ongoing pandemic situation, on April 19, 2021, Anna University also directed all faculty members to work from home starting from April 20 until further orders. During this time period, the varsity will conduct all the semester classes through online mode.  The University will conduct the semester exams in an open-book format.
