DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University's admission portal receives 3,35,547 UG and 1,47,949 PG applications
Delhi University admission process will end for UG courses on August 31 and PG courses on August 21, 2021, respectively.
DU Admissions 2021: As per the data released by Delhi University, the varsity's admission portal has received approximately 3,35,547 applications for the Under Graduate 2021 admissions. For the postgraduate courses, around 1,47,949 students have applied for the postgraduate courses until August 18, 2021. Close to 21,019 applications have been received by DU for the MPhil/PhD programmes for the 2021 session.
It must be noted that the last date to submit the DU Applications for the UG courses is August 31, 2021. The applications for DU PG courses will end on August 21, 2021. Delhi University has added a new section in its admission portal for students seeking admission in PG courses. Now, candidates will have to update their COVID-19 vaccine status on the portal while applying for PG admission. However, students must note that it will not have any impact on their admission process.
As per the recent reports, Delhi University's first cutoff list will be released by October 1, 2021, and admission will begin from October 4, 2021. The Delhi University cut-off list was earlier scheduled to be released between September 7 to 10, 2021, however, considering that various Boards improvement exams are scheduled during that period, the release of the DU Cut off list has been postponed.
Admissions for a majority of the Delhi University Undergraduate and postgraduate courses are conducted on the basis of merit while admission to a few of the courses is conducted on the basis of the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). Students who have applied for the various courses are advised to visit the official website for details regarding the entrance examinations and the admission procedure.
