Delhi University has urged the students to refrain from adopting unfair means during the Open Book Examinations that are underway. In a notice, the Dean of Examination said some students appearing in the examination are using unfair means using various websites.

"We have identified various websites and blogs apart from WhatsApp and Telegram groups which students are using for the inappropriate practice. The competent authority of the University of Delhi has taken a serious note of it," the notice read.

The university has also initiated the process of identifying such students through their phone numbers in the groups/websites and is preparing Unfair Means (UFM) cases against them, the notice mentioned.

All such cases will be considered as UFM cases and such students will be punished under the University of Delhi's rules for dealing with such matters.

Meanwhile, Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh has said that the country may not get the desired results if the National Education Policy is not implemented properly. He further stressed that policies that compromise the country's growth should not be supported.

He further asserted that as the citizens of the country, one must not indulge in activities that weaken the nation. He was addressing a seminar organised by the Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences in partnership with an NGO named Shodh. The seminar was titled 'Viswa Guru Bharat: Exploring the Glorious Past, Promising Present and the Future Roadmap.' "The National Education Policy came in 2020 and it has good features. If we are not implementing it properly, we will not get the results the nation wants... Students, institutions -- we all have to find our roles and work towards its implementation," he said.
