IGNOU Admissions 2020: Last date to register extended until October 25; apply @ignou.ac.in
Interested candidates who wish to take admissions to online and regular courses of IGNOU July 2020 session can visit the official website of IGNOU, i.e. ignou.ac.in and fill the IGNOU registration form.
IGNOU Admissions 2020: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) further extended the last date of IGNOU registration 2020 for the July session until October 25. Earlier, the last date for the July session IGNOU 2020 registration was October 15. Interested candidates who wish to take admissions to online and regular courses of IGNOU July 2020 session can visit the official website of IGNOU, i.e. ignou.ac.in and fill the IGNOU registration form. The online registration of IGNOU for online programmes started on June 1. The Open University released IGNOU registration form for regular courses on June 6.
Indira Gandhi National Open University also released the examination form of IGNOU for December term-end exams. The last date to fill the IGNOU exam form for December term-end exams is November 10. IGNOU offers a wide range of courses under postgraduate, undergraduate, certificate, diploma, advanced diploma and postgraduate diploma level through online distance learning. The varsity also offers 10 programmes through online mode from July 2020 session.
Meanwhile, the Open University is all set to allow students to apply for ‘provisional admission’ to undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes at the university. According to the official reports, candidates can apply online for the provisional admission at IGNOU for the July 2020 session without producing their mark-sheets or results.
The official statement released by the University reads,“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the examination process of all the educational institutions in the country has been affected and the declaration of result has been delayed. As a result of this, students aspiring to join higher education are not able to produce the results of their qualifying examinations.” It further added, “In order to provide relief to such aspiring students in keeping with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission, IGNOU shall grant Provisional Admission.”
