IGNOU to host 34th convocation ceremony on April 15 at 11 am

The University will be distributing certificates and degrees to its students. The students and faculty members of 53 regional centers across the country will be participating in the convocation ceremony.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that it will be celebrating its 34th convocation ceremony on April 15 at 11 am. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will be attending the ceremony and deliver the convocation ceremony on the occasion. The event will take place at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Delhi.

The University will be distributing certificates and degrees to its students. The students and faculty members of 53 regional centers across the country will be participating in the convocation ceremony. Students who have completed their courses in 2020, 2021 will be felicitated during the ceremony.

The ceremony will be live telecasted on IGNOU’s Gyan Darshan Channel and Swayam Prabha Channels for Higher Education. It will also be webcast at the official Facebook page of IGNOU.

Meanwhile,  IGNOU has again extended the IGNOU registration window for January 2021 session until April 15. According to the official statement released by the Open University, the candidates who are yet to register for the January 2021 session can fill the IGNOU 2021 application form at the IGNOU Samarth portal, i.e. ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Earlier, the IGNOU registration deadline for January 2021 session was March 31. The IGNOU registration 2021 for the January session commenced on February 3.

For IGNOU registration 2021, candidates will further need to enter their details like name, email ID, mobile number and create a login ID and generate a password. Candidates have to note the login ID and password to check updates on the admission process.
