IIIT Kottayam Admission 2021 begins for PhD programme; Last date to apply is May 15

Applicants can submit their applications online at https://www.iiitkottayam.ac.in. The last date to submit the applications is May 15, 2021, latest by 5 pm.

IIIT Kottayam Admissions 2021: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam commenced the admission application process for its PhD Programmes. According to the reports, the programme will be commencing in August 2021. IIIT Kottayam offers PhD Programmes in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering. Once the programme will be completed successfully, students will be awarded both MS and PhD degree.

Applicants can submit their applications online at https://www.iiitkottayam.ac.in. The last date to submit the applications is May 15, 2021, latest by 5 pm. Those appearing in their qualifying degree examinations may also apply provisionally. Applications will be accepted only after the payment of the requisite application fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates). Selection will be based on the performance in the written test and /or interview.

IIIT Kottayam admissions are offered in Scholarship Holders (Full-Time), sponsored (Full-Time), Self-Financed (Full-Time) and Part-Time categories. Candidates interested in applying for IIIT Kottayam PhD admissions 2021 are advised to read further and go through the eligibility criteria.

IIT Kottayam PhD admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for IIIT Kottayam PhD admissions 2021 must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Electronics and Communication Engineering /Electrical Engineering or equivalent area with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of either 6.0 in a 10-point scale or 60% in appropriate branches or a Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering from any IIT’s, IIITs, NITs, Other Institutions of National Importance with a minimum CGPA of either 7.0 or equivalent in a 10-point scale or 70% of marks.
