IIST Admissions 2021 open for MTech & Master of Science; Last date to apply is June 16

Candidates applying for IIST Admissions 2021 should not be over 32 years of age as on June 16, 2021. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/Persons with disability (PD) category as per Government of India Orders.

IIST Admissions 2021: Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Department of Space, Government of India, Valiamala PO, Thiruvananthapuram-695547, is all set to close the admission application submission window for various MTech and Master of Science Programmes for the academic year 2021-2022. Candidates interested in IIST Admissions 2021 must note that the last date of registration and payment of the application fee is June 16, 2021. Candidates submitting the application form should not be over 32 years of age as on June 16, 2021. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/Persons with disability (PD) category as per Government of India Orders.

IIST MTech Admissions 2021: Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a BE/BTech/Master of Science or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% or CGPA 6.50 out of 10 (55% or CGPA 6.00 out of 10 for SC/ST&PD category). A valid score in GATE is also essential.

IIST Admissions 2021: How to apply?

Candidates can submit the IIST online admission application through https://admission.iist.ac.in/ Those who wish to apply for more than one programme are advised to exercise their order of preference at the time of applying themselves. Choosing a maximum of five preferences within or across all the departments is allowed. The preference once exercised shall be final. No applications will be accepted without the submission of the application fee. The application fee is Rs.600/- for males and Rs.300/- for women, SC, ST, PD applicants for a maximum of three preferences. The fee is Rs.1200/- for males and Rs.600/- for SC, ST, PD, and women candidates for four or five preferences. Applicants have to deposit the application fee online.
