Jamia Hamdard accepts NEET score for MBBS, BUMS and BPharm programme. Candidates can also get admission to BPharm via JEE Main score. Apart from these, admission to all other courses is either based on other national-level entrance exam or merit in the last qualifying exam. Admission to courses like BSc, BA, BCom, BJMC and BBA is based on CUET-UG score. Apart from this, JEE Main is accepted for BTech programme. The selection for MBA is based on national-level Management entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, GPAT, or ATMA.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. In case a student does not join the hostel but informs the Provost Office within a week after payment of the hostel fee about the withdrawal, the hostel charges are then refunded after deduction of INR 1000. In case the student withdraws admission within one month of joining of hostel, the fee is refunded after a deduction of 25% of the hostel fee. 

In any other case, no fee except security deposit is refundable. It is refunded to the hosteller after he/she has paid all dues and vacated the hostel. 

No, Hamdard Institute of Medical Science and Research under Jamia Hamdard University does not accepts donation. As per the official website, HIMSR don’t take admission through any counselor/s, agent or any other third party. All the admission to MBBS programme is allotted by Medical Counseling Committee of DGHS under MoHFW, Government of India, through NEET-UG Counseling only. If in case anyone pay any amount to third party,  agent or counselor HIMSR, JHU will not be responsible for any refund or admission.

Jamia Hamdard accepts NEET score for admission to MBBS programme. NTA releases NEET cutoff for admission to MBBS programme. NTA determines the NEET cut off based on the factors such as difficulty level of the exam, total number of test-takers, total number of seats, candidate category and programme. In 2023, the NEET cutoff for Jamia Hamdard MBBS was 59,571 for General Category. Candidates with a decent score in NEET, can get a seat in MBBS programme of Jamia Hamdard University. As per unofficial sources, the marks required for General category is between 600 and 620.

CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form.
