The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is now inviting applications for admission to its professional certificate programme in Blockchain. The next cohort of the program will begin from today; i.e. June 9. All candidates who are interested to pursue the course must note that they can apply by visiting the Simplilearn website. 

During the programme, candidates will get the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and technical and functional aspects needed to build any blockchain solution. The course offers a learning experience with real-world blockchain applications in healthcare, fintech, and supply chain management, among others, claims the institute.

IIT Kanpur will conduct the blockchain program in a virtual mode. The duration of the programme is four months. The course will be taught 5 to 10 hours every week. The induction of the programme will be held today while regular classes will be conducted from June 25 to September 18, the institute informed.

The skills to be taught in the program include Bitcoin, Distributed ledger, Consensus, Transactions, Cryptography and Cryptocurrency, Ethereum Blockchain, Networks, Workflows, and Hyperledger.

IIT Kanpur certificate course in Blockchain: Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted after the application has been reviewed by the admission panel. All the successful candidates will be given an offer of admission and they will be able to start their course after paying the admission fee. On completion of the course, candidates will get an IIT Kanpur certificate.
