Jamia Hamdard schools, offices, departments to remain closed until April 30
A statement issued in this regard said that online classes will continue and examinations will be held as per schedule. Essential services will remain functional, it further added.
Jamia Hamdard University to reopen after April 30! According to the official notice posted by Jamia Hamdard University, it has decided to keep the schools, offices and departments of the university closed until April 30. The decision to close its schools, offices and departments for offline classes from April 19 was taken considering the ongoing pandemic situation and surge in COVID-19 cases. A statement issued in this regard said that online classes will continue and examinations will be held as per schedule. Essential services will remain functional, it further added. The university has also directed that urgent and important work may be carried out online.
While announcing the closure, Jamia Hamdard in their social media handle said: “In continuation of Office Order No. JH/RO/OO/2021/18 dated April 18, 2021, because of the surge of COVID-19, all the Offices/Schools/Departments of Jamia Hamdard will remain close further from April 26 to April 30, 2021.”
Meanwhile the university also commenced the admission application for distance education programmes in BBA, BCA and BCOM. Candidates interested in Hamdard University Admissions 2021 to the undergraduate distance learning programmes can apply online or in offline mode by April 30, 2021. In order to be eligible to apply for these programmes, applicants must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board or a Government recognised Madrasa Board. There are no age criteria for taking up admission in these courses.
Candidates willing to apply through offline mode are required to download the application form from the official website of Jamia Hamdard. After downloading, the applicants have to fill the application form will all the necessary details. The Jamia Hamdard application form for BBA, BCOM and BCA will require the candidates to fill in their academic details, address, programme code, candidate’s signature, and details of the demand draft. etc. Apart from the application form, applicants need to attach their self-attested documents and send them to the Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Jamia Hamdard, First Floor, Hamdard Convention Centre, Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, Mehrauli – Badarpur Road, New Delhi – 110 062.
