Q:   What is the fees of BPharm at Jamia Hamdard?

There are multiple components included in the total course fee, such as hostel fee, tuition fee, security deposit, and more. The total tuition fee for BPharm at Jamia Hamdard ranges between INR 5.8 lakh and INR 8.8 lakh. Inclusive of both regular BPharma and lateral entry programmes. Jamia Hamdard University MBBS admissions are entrance-based. To get admission to the MBBS programme at the university, candidates must appear for the NEET UG exam. Candidates are required to fill NEET-UG application form for MBBS admission. Placements: 85% of total students get placed. Companies like Max Healthcare and Apollo visit here for hiring. Roles offered during placements include radiography, radiology technologies, X-ray, CT, and MRI technologies. The lowest average package in our course is 3 to 5 Lakhs. Internships are compulsory for every student in their last year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available for students, and a maximum of 60 students can be in a classroom. The library is also available to assist students. Safe and separate hostels with good hygienic food quality are available for boys and girls. Majeedia Hospital provides medical facilities, and sports grounds are available for games.
Faculty: Well-qualified teachers with extensive knowledge are available for the welfare of students. The teaching quality is excellent, making it easy for students to understand. The relevant course curriculum prepares students for the field of radiodiagnosis to assist radiologists. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, allowing every student to pass.
Other: I chose this course because imaging technologies help us identify diseases through imaging the area of interest in the patient. Many events and fests are held at our college.

Placements: 300 students got placed in our course. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 7 LPA and can be lower. Companies like Infosys, HCL, Flipkart, and Wipro come here for student selection. Roles like CTO, software developer, and full stack developer are offered here. Students do get internships here.
Infrastructure: Facilities like classrooms are non-AC. Only the ground floor which are the LT classrooms are smart classes with AC and projector. Other classrooms are without AC. The hostel is good with a lot of facilities like laundry, Wi-Fi and electricity all over. The mess is also good. The food is also good there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are assistant professors who mostly give lectures. There are also guest faculty members who are highly qualified and well-educated. The course curriculum is not relevant as it has an old syllabus, which is quite basic nowadays and can be done by anyone. However, the fact is there is a degree given after that which is really important. Semester exams are not that difficult, and they are easy to pass by just studying the night before the exam.
Other: I chose this course to explore AI in the curriculum and do cybersecurity which sets the basic foundation for ethical hacking. A core CSE course is a gateway for everything we want to specialize in information technology or this relevant industry. Better faculty interaction and behavior should have been there to create a student-friendly environment. Events and fests are totally optional and depend on if we are in society and clubs.

I am dissatisfied due to the limited faculty and frequent cancellation of classes.
Placements: At the graduation level, there's no direct placement. Students who are passionate about research gain excellent experience in wet labs. Each year, 2-3 M.Sc. students secure placements. Students have the opportunity to pursue internships with stipends ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 INR per month.
Infrastructure: The department includes a library where students can issue books apart from the central library. There is an animal house that provides students with hands-on skills in animal handling. The Department of Medical Elementology and Toxicology also has a specialized fly lab. There is a sports complex where students can practice. There are two lecture theatres assigned for undergraduate students.
Faculty: The department has a limited number of faculty members, and classes are often not held as scheduled, with cancellations occurring frequently. The curriculum is relevant, especially for students interested in fields such as pharmaceuticals and pharmacogenomics, but it does not fully prepare students for industry requirements. Students need to develop additional skills to meet industry standards.
Other: I chose toxicology because the field intrigued me, sparking a curiosity to learn more. The best aspect of this is the six-month dissertation offered to undergraduate students.

Semester exams are not that hard, and we have to score 50% which includes the sessional exam and external semester, which are the internals.
Other: I chose this course because it has a lot of opportunities and can be used to develop skills and real-time API. Web development, software engineering, and data science are some fields that are in trend right now. These times can be executed by learning CSE and having a degree in CSE. Better education quality and better infrastructure should be improved. Events, fests, and the campus crowd are good. Events keep happening all the way in a month depending on clubs we are in.

Review of the evergreen Jamia Hamdard University.
Placements: It basically goes towards the pharmacy placements. In mass communications, it gives documentary, film production, and anchoring placements in well-reputed companies like BBC, Aaj Tak, TV 9, Republic TV, NDTV, Zee News, etc. It has a well-organised structure and gives good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is well-maintained. It has Wi-Fi, computer labs for doing editing on photoshops, Premiere Pro, Adobe software, and studios for news and radio. It provides a lot of hands-on workshops. The interior of the college where students sit is well-organised and has 99 names of Allah, where everyone feels peace alone at their free time.
Faculty: Faculty members are like friends, and they are supportive. They provide a lot of PDFs and notes, which are helpful. Faculty members came from IMC, BHU, and AMU. They are highly educated. We have professional course lectures by professionals, like for radio, we have an AIR anchor for teaching.

Honest and classified review of Jamia Hamdard.
Placements: Around 300 students got placed in one year, and that is based on the JEE Main score, but some of them didn't even take JEE. So it is easy to get into this college. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The lowest package offered is low. Infosys, etc., are the top companies of our course. No internship is given to students, and we have to do it all by ourselves. The top roles offered are CTO, SDE, software engineer, and cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only good at 5G labs. We have a central library building. It has smart 5G labs. The library is also good but does not look like a library. There is no AC, and only fans are available. The hostel is quite good, and it has an NRI hostel and other hostels, which are comparatively good. The food served is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful if we are good in their class/lecture, or else we will be in trouble in the class. The syllabus is quite old, but teachers make it relevant to the industry level. Semester exams are not that tough, and the pass percentage is 50%, including the sessional (internal) exam.
Other: It has a lot to do with the CSE core subject because the core can give us a lot to explore in the CSE field, so I chose it. The syllabus and also the way of teaching should be improved. Events and fests also happen in college, so college life is good here.

Yes, the MBBS course offered by Jamia Hamdard University is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Jamia Hamdard admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM (IST). NTA conducted the exam in 571 cities across India and abroad. Around 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
