JMI Placement 2021 underway, highest package offered so far Rs 14 LPA

Some of the major companies that have participated in the JMI Placement 2021 and have offered jobs to students TCS, IBM, Deloitte and Wipro.

Jamia Milia Placements 2021 are underway. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and economic slowdown, JMI has received a good response with many best and top recruiters participating in the placement drive. University Placement Cell of JMI has launched the campus placements for the academic year 2021-22 on August 7, 2021. As informed by the University, until now more than 10 multinationals and various top-notch companies have conducted virtual campus placement drives for the students. Some of the major companies that have participated in the JMI Placement 2021 and have offered jobs to students TCS, IBM, Deloitte and Wipro. The students from various fields like Engineering, Computer Science and Commerce streams have got placement offers.

As per the JMI placement report, around 100 students have been selected from various BTech and MCA by companies like TCS, EXL Services, Josh Technology, ZS Associates, Innovacer, Publicis Sapient, Infoedge and IBM.  From the Master of Commerce program seven students have bagged jobs at Deloitte.

Till now, the highest package offered so far is Rs 14 lakh per annum and the average package is Rs 7 lakh per annum. 

While congratulating the placement team, Professor Z A Jaffery, Director, University Placement Cell, said that "we have invited good companies this year on a priority basis. The strong industry-academia linkages forged by the JMI, its quality of students and teaching have helped the university emerge as a top draw among some of the biggest corporate names from across the country. In the coming month, more companies are lined up for campus placement drives."

Jamia Milia Islamia Admissions 2021 are also underway. JMI 2021 admission form submission window closed on July 10. The University conducted the JMI Entrance Exam 2021 for 134 UG/PG courses till August 28. Candidates must note that they will be able to submit the result qualifying exams for JMI 2021 admission until September 30 in the online mode.
