
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has extended the registration date for its ongoing winter semester admissions till January 17, 2020. According to the official notice, anyone applying after the extended date will have to pay fine.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has stretched the registration date for its ongoing winter semester admissions till January 17, 2020. Interested candidates may complete the application process on JNU’s official website, jnu.ac.in to avoid late fees charges. Earlier, the enlistment date was extended till January 15, which is currently further stretched for the convenience of the applicants.
JNU Admission 2020: How to apply
Interested students may follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the JNU winter session 2020.
Step 1: Visit the official website of JNU i.e. jnu.ac.in
Step 2: Click on 'Admission'
Step 3: Choose a suitable course
Step 4: Enter the necessary personal and educational details
Step 5: Click on 'submit'
JNU Winter Semester 2020: Late fee details
Students who wish to apply for the winter semester can apply on the official website of JNU i.e. jnu.ac.in without paying the late fees. According to the official notice, anyone applying after January 17 will have to pay the late fees.
- Indian students who register after the extended date i.e. January 17 will have to pay a late fee of Rs 100 per day for seven days (from January 20 to 26).
- For foreign/NRI students, the late fees will be 5% of tuition fees per day.
This session’s winter semester was started on January 13. The late fees for students who will register late will increase after every 7 days. After 21 days, students may have to give a written request to the Vice-chancellor to apply for the winter semester. After imposing an appropriate amount of fine, he may grant permission for late registration.
