Mumbai University Admissions 2022: Mumbai University Undergraduate application process 2022 is currently underway. More than 62,000 students have already registered as part of the pre-admission registration process for pursuing undergraduate courses offered by colleges affiliated with Mumbai University. Mumbai University began the application process on June 9 and as per reports, these registered candidates have submitted nearly 80,000 applications. It must be noted that one student can apply for more than one course.

Mumbai University on Monday revealed the figures. While the registration figures include students from different state education boards, including the Maharashtra state board, applications have been submitted only by the Maharashtra HSC Board students.

"In order to be able to submit applications, students need their class 12 scores. As of now, only HSC students can complete this process, while the rest can do it once their results are released," said an official from MU, as reported by HT.

Until 2021, the Maharashtra HSC board was the last to announce the board results. However, this year, state universities across the country have to wait for Class 12 results of other school education board including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC), before announcing the entire schedule.

"We have directed principals of all affiliated colleges to ensure that the admission process is conducted online so as to avoid large gatherings of students on campus for admissions. All in-house admissions will be conducted between June 10 and June 20 this year,” the Mumbai University said in a circular.
