NIFT Result 2026: Date, Result Link for UG & PG, Download Scorecard, Tie-Breaker, Topper List

NIFT Exam is conducted in two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 includes a written exam, which comprises two tests: GAT and CAT. Stage 2 consists of Situation Test and/or Personal Interview.

Stage 1 Result: NIFT Stage 1 Result 2026 is expected to be out in the last week of April 2026 on the official website of NIFT NTA. NIFT will also release the Answer Key after the Stage 1 exam around the

NIFT Result Stage 2: NIFTEE Stage 2 Result 2026 is expected to be out in the last week of June 2026. The result will be declared on the official website. Candidates can login using their application number and date of birth.

Step-wise process to check NIFT Final 2026 Results

Considering the NIFT 2026 exam is conducted by the NTA, the result login window will be available on its website. Here is how you can check NIFT results.

• Go to the NTA NIFT website.
• Click on the result link.
• Enter your application number, date of birth (or password), and security pin.
• On successful login, the NIFTEE Final 2026 Result will be displayed on the screen.

The final results for NIFT 2026 will be prepared by giving weightage to various test components; check the table below

If two or more candidates score the same marks, then the merit ranks will be determined based on the following tie-break criteria.

1. The marks scored by the candidate in tests with higher weightage will be considered to break the tie. For instance, for the NIFT B.Des program, marks obtained in the CAT exam will be compared to break the tie.
2. If the marks obtained in the CAT are equal, then the marks obtained in the GAT will be considered. 
3. If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then marks obtained subject-wise in the following order will be considered: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Ability &General Knowledge and Current Affairs. 

The Final Result of NIFT 2026 will be available in the form of a scorecard. It will carry the following information:

• Name of the candidate
• Date of birth
• Photograph
• Roll number
• Application number
• Subject-wise scores obtained in written exams (CAT and GAT) and the Situation Test/ Personal Interview
• Total score in NIFT Entrance Exam 2026
• NIFT 2026 merit rank of the candidate

The NTA will release the Answer key and question paper of NIFT 2026 after the conclusion of the written exam.

• If a question asked in the NIFT 2026 exam, for any reason, is found to be wrong, then the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempted the question. On examining the challenges by the subject experts, if it is found that along with the original answer key, one or more options (s) are correct, then marks will be awarded to all those candidates who have attempted any one of the correct options. 
• No grievances/ representation about the Answer Key(s) will be entertained after NIFT 2026 results are declared. 
• The NIFT 2026 Final answer keys will be available soon.
