AEEE 2026 Registrations to Start Soon; Amrita BTech Application Portal now Available
Amrita BTech admission 2026 will commence soon. The AEEE registration portal has been updated for admission via JEE 2026 and AEEE 2026 scores. Check all details below.
Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has announced details of BTech admission process to its 8 campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar. As per the update on the official website of the AEEE application portal - aeee.amrita.edu/portal, the AEEE registration 2026 will start soon. Admission to BTech courses at all 8 campuses of Amrita will be based on the AEEE 2026 score or JEE Main 2026 scores. The update of the website further mentions, "Registration will begin soon. Please check back later."
AEEE 2026 registration process is expected to start in October 2025. The Amrita Entrance Exam - Engineering (AEEE) exam will be held twice: Phase 1 in February 2026 and Phase 2 in May 2026. The candidates who have completed their class 12 in 2025 and those who will complete in 2026 can apply for AEEE 2026. The registration process for the entrance exam will include registration with email ID/mobile number and basic details like full name as per the records, date of birth, social status, contact details, Aadhaar number, etc. After registration, candidates have to upload their latest photograph and signature.
Lastly, to submit the online application form, candidates have to pay the applicable application fee. The application fee charged last year for the AEEE application submission was INR 1200 for candidates applying only via the AEEE mode or via both AEEE and JEE Main modes. Candidates who applied only via the JEE Mains mode alone had to pay INR 500.
Note that the AEEE application form will be available online only on the official website - aeee.amrita.edu. There is no other mode to apply for the Amrita BTech admission.
The AEEE 2026 will be conducted across India in a computer-based test mode. The registered candidates will be allowed to choose their three preferred cities to take the exam. AEEE will also be held in multiple shifts. Via the slot booking facility, registered candidates will be allowed to select their preferred exam date and time.
AEEE exam will have questions from Maths, Physics and Chemistry. All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.
The AEEE 2026 application form is expected to be available in the first week of October 2025. The candidates will be able to apply for multiple phases of the exam. The online AEEE application form 2026 is made available on the official website - aeee.amrita.edu. There is no mode of offline application for AEEE.
The last date to apply for the AEEE 2026 exam for all the phases will be made available on the official website - aeee.amrita.edu. For the phase 1 exam the application forms are expected to be available until January 2026.

The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 will be out in October 2025. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used. The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application, i.e. acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence.
