BITSAT 2026: Extended Deadline Announced for Students Whose Class 12 Results Are Delayed

BITSAT 2026: Students Without Class 12 Results Can Still Submit FD Preference Form

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has made an important announcement for BITSAT 2026 aspirants whose Class 12 board results may not be declared by the June 1 deadline. As per the notice, candidates whose respective boards have not declared the class 12 result by June 1, 2026, are still required to complete and submit the FD preference form.

Students must fill in their programme preferences, pay the applicable fee and submit the FD Preference Form between April 21 and June 1, 2026. The submission of the FD preference form within this window is mandatory to remain eligible for the BITS 2026 admission process, even if the class 12 marks are not yet available.

Extended Deadline to Upload Class 12 Marks

BITS Pilani has also provided flexibility to students awaiting their board results. Such candidates will be allowed to submit their class 12 marks and upload the relevant marksheet or certificate on or before July 10, 2026, once the results are officially declared by their board. This provision ensures that students from boards with delayed result schedules are not at a disadvantage during the admission process.

The BITSAT 2026 registration is ongoing at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The last date for BITSAT registration 2026 session 1 or both sessions is March 16. The authorities will open the registration window for session 2 from April 20 to May 2. Registered candidates will be able to attempt for BITSAT in April and May.
