The Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the COMEDK 2026 counselling dates for the mock round. The option entry for mock allotment will be held from July 11 to 13. Candidates who completed the counselling registration must fill in their choices before the deadline. The mock allotment will help students understand the colleges thy are likely to get before the actual allotment. Students can then change their priority list after the mock allotment.

The COMEDK UGET seat allotment will be done based on the ranks obtained in the test. The authorities have released the revised provisional COMEDK seat matrix and candidates can refer to it to know the available courses, fees and seat availability.

The step-by-step process for COMEDK choice filling involves:

• Visiting the counselling website at comedk.org.
• Log in using the application number/user ID and password.
• Open the 'Option Entry' section.
• Search for colleges or courses using filters such as institute name, branch or location.
• Add preferred colleges branches.
• Arrange all selected options in the desired order.
• Save the choices.
• Review and lock the choices before the deadline.

The authority will announce the allotment dates later. The revised provisional seat matrix for COMEDK UGET 2026 has been released online. Now there are 24,644 seats for admission compared to 24,626 seats in the earlier pdf. The number of seats for general merit has also increased.
