GATE 2026 admit card will be released anytime soon at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates who have registered for Graduate Aptititude Test in Engineering can download their hall ticket using enrollment ID and password. IITG will conduct GATE 2026 on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. Read below.

GATE 2026 admit card download date

GATE 2026 admit card is expected to release anytime soon. Earlier, release date was scheduled for January 2, but was postponed for some reason. However, based on past year’s trends, aspirants are actively discussing and predicting that GATE 2026 admit card release date may be around first week of January 2026 (likely Jan 7)

This year, IIT Guwahati is conducting Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, and may follow the same timeline as last year for GATE 2026 admit card release date. However, as per official IIT update, hall ticket date will be announced soon at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.Β 

Once released, admit card of GATEΒ will be available online at GOAPS login.Β No hardcopy will be sent to applicants.

How to download GATE admit card 2026?

Candidates can download their GATE 2026 admission ticket, following the process below-

  • Visit GATE’s official websiteΒ 
  • Click on application link
  • Enter your login credentials - enrollment ID and passwordΒ 
  • Check all details carefully and download for exam day

Details Printed on Hall Ticket

The admit card of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will have details about the paper code, enrollment ID, photo and signature, roll number, exam date and time, etc. Students must go through all details carefully and report timely on GATE 2026 exam date.

GATE Exam Centre InstructionsΒ 

Test centre address will be mentioned on the admit card along with exam day guidelines to be followed. Students must carry a printed copy of hall ticket of GATE 2026 along with a valid ID (the same as submitted during registration) with a pen/pencil and transparent water bottle. It must be noted that no entry will be permitted without the above documents.Β 

The MTech engineering entrance exam will be held in two slots- forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Students must reach an hour before to allotted centre. Once GATE 2026 admit card download link is activated, students must download as early as possible and start focusing on their revision.
