IIT Guwahati will soon announce the GATE 2026 admit card release date for the lakhs of M.Tech aspirants in the country. Candidates who have successfully registered for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 will be able to download their hall tickets online once the link is activated. The GATE admit card download link will be available at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Candidates can expect the GATE admit card 2026 on January 7, 2026. The admit card is required while appearing for the exam and will have details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, exam date, shift timing, test centre address and important exam day instructions.

Once released candidates can download the GATE 2026 hall ticket by

• Visiting the official GATE GOAPS website
• Log in using enrollment ID/email ID and password
• Click on the GATE admit card 2026 link
• Download and take a clear printout for exam day use

After downloading the admit card, candidates must carefully verify the given details. In case of any discrepancy contact the GATE officials immediately.

Exam Day Instructions

• Carry a printed copy of the admit card for GATE 2026
• Bring a valid original photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)
• Reach the exam centre as per reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the admit card
