GATE 2026 Cutoff Marks
IIT Guwahati has announced GATE result on March 19, and will soon publish GATE 2026 cutoff marks for all 30 papers. Students who appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering have already received their scores and mark updated on GOAPS. The official website to check GATE 2026 results is gate2026.iitg.ac.in. To check the result of GATE 2026, candidates need to provide their enrollment ID and password at login page.
GATE 2026 Cutoff Marks Expected Release Date
Last year, the result was announced on March 19, and the cutoff marks, along with the number of candidates registered stats and topper’s list was released on March 25. So, candidates can expect that the GATE 2026 minimum qualifying mark for CSE, ME, EE, and other papers will be released in the fourth week of March 2026. The GATE topper’s list 2026 will also be published along with the cutoff marks. Students will be able to check GATE topper’s raw marks out of 100 and scores out of 1000. The GATE 2026 AIR will be released for all 30 papers.

GATE 2026 COAP and CCMT Dates

GATE counselling 2026 will be conducted by COAP and CCMT, which will be done by respective IITs and IISc on rotational basis.
- Through COAP, students will be offered admission to IITs
- Through CCMT, students will be offered admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
The GATE counselling is conducted online by CCMT and COAP. Authorities will announce GATE results 2026 on March 19. Qualified candidates can participate in counselling. COAP is done IIT and IISc admission and CCMT for NITs and other institutions.

Now that the GATE exam result 2026 is announced, COAP and CCMT 2026 portal will be launched soon. The COAP portal is used for IIT admission, whereas the CCMT for NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs admission. Students who have qualified for the exam can access the portal to register for the counselling process. The GATE 2026 counselling will take place in rounds depending on the seat availability for GATE admission. IIT Guwahati will issue the GATE scorecard on March 27. Candidates can download from GOAPS using their enrollment ID and password. It is advised to keep all their documents ready before the counselling begins.
