IIT Guwahati has reopened GATE 2026 application form correction facility for TODAY (Nov 18) only. Candidates can edit at the GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. The details updated in the exam form will reflect on GATE admit card 2026.

Candidates can follow steps below to make changes in their GATE 2026 registration form -
- Visit GATE’s official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in
- Go to application portal link and login using credentials
- Select detail to make changes
- Update information and pay fee amount through netbanking/credit card/debit card/UPI
- Submit and take printout of updated application form

Fee for each change is different and can be paid using netbanking, credit card, debit card or UPI. Candidates are advised to keep payment receipt safe, as it will be required during admission process.
GATE 2026 Branch-Wise Schedule Release Date
The conducting IIT (Guwahati) has released GATE 2026 branch-wise dates on the official website. Registered candidates can download their hall ticket on January 2 using their enrollment ID and password. The exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts for 30 test papers.
GATE 2026 Exam Pattern
GATE is a computer-based exam, and time duration for attempting question paper is three hours. The total mark is 100 comprising questions from general aptitude, engineering mathematics, and subject-specific. GATE exam pattern 2026 is different for some branches. Candidates must check all details carefully and revise according to that.
