GATE 2026 Result Soon: What to do if you have forgotten GOAPS enrollment ID?

The GATE result 2026 date countdown has started. IIT Guwahati will activate the result link on the schedule date, March 19. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to access GATE result 2026 link on the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. However, in case you have forgotten your login credentials then it's time to retrieve it soon before results are announced. Check details below. 

IIT Guwahati will announce GATE 2026 result on March 19. Candidates can check their result at gate2026.iitg.ac.in at GOAPS portal. The credentials required are enrollment ID and password. However, in case you have forgotten your login details, then ensure that you get it recovered before the GATE result 2026 date. 

GATE 2026 Application Form Correction: Important Update

The GATE application 2026 defect rectification window will be closed today (March 15). The facility was opened for provisional candidates only (whose details in form have been identified as incorrect or not up to mark). Such applicants are advised to check their registered email ID and do the required changes before the deadline. Not clearing the defects can lead to withheld GATE 2026 results, and such candidates will not be able to participate in the upcoming counselling round. 

How to recover GATE 2026 Login Credentials through GOAPS?

Aspirants can recover their credentials for the GATE exam 2026 following the process below -

• Go to official website
• Then click on application form portal and select forgot credentials
• Now enter email ID or e-mail address, mobile number
• Request for OTP
• Enter One time password and recover credentials

When to download GATE 2026 Scorecard?

Candidates will be able to download their GATE scorecard 2026 from March 27 onwards. The scorecard will remain valid for three years. Till May 31, the scorecard will be available for free download. Later till December 31, candidates can download their GATE 2026 result scorecard from GOAPS by paying INR 500.
