GATE 2027 Registration: How to Apply at gate2027.iitm.ac.in

GATE 2027 registration window opens on August 14. IIT Madras is conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering on Feb 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027. Candidates who want to apply can check the GATE exam details below. 

GATE 2027 Registration: How to Apply at gate2027.iitm.ac.in

GATE 2027 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology will start the application form on the official website: gate2027.iitm.ac.in. The GATE 2027 registration last date without late fee is September 21. However, students can still submit their form with an additional fee till September 30, 2026. 

How to apply for GATE 2027

The registrations will be done online at GOAPS. This year, GATE exam registration process will include facial registration and DigiLocker verification. Here’s how candidates can apply as per the GATE 2027 application date.

• Go to official website - gate2027.iitm.ac.in

• Click on the application form link/GOAPS 2027

• First, candidates have to register. They have to create a verified DigiLocker account for smooth registration process

• Fill in required details and upload documents (photo, signature, photo ID- facial verification)

• PwD and Dyslexic applicants have to upload their category/dyslexic certificate

• Pay application fee and submit 

• Download application and keep a copy for future references

For GATE 2027 registration, Indian nationals will have to first register through DigiLocker. For other nationals, they must register by providing their full name and other details. The GATE enrollment ID and password received during registration are the login credentials for GOAPS.

GATE 2027 Registration: Fee Details

Candidates have to pay the application fee according to their category. The GATE registration 2027 fees can be checked below:

• For SC/ST/female/PwD candidates, the fee is INR 1000 in regular period and INR 1500 during extended period

• For others, including foreign nationals, the fee is INR 2000 in regular period and INR 2500 during the extended period. 

GATE 2027 Registration: Important Instructions

• The photo must be latest (not older than 3 months)

• Candidates can apply using one email ID and mobile number only

• The GATE live photo will be captured during registration. Hence, it is advisable to use a computer with a webcam facility or phone with 5 MP Camera

• The scanned signature must be done as per the guidelines.
