GATE Registration 2026 Last Date Today With Regular Fees Live: Steps, Eligibility, Fees, and Exam Updates

No, candidates must select two GATE papers from the list mentioned by IIT Guwahati. The paper combination must be from that list only.

Students have to provide their name, mobile number, email ID, etc. to generate the GATE enrollment ID. A password can be created once the enrollment ID is received. The password must be in 8 to 15 characters. 

The last date to submit the GATE application form with late fees is October 9.

There are a total of 30 GATE subject/branch papers. Every paper has a two paper combination list. 

Aspirants have to fill just one application form, even if they are applying for two GATE papers. The facility to choose the secondary paper is available in the registration process. 

GATE paper - computer science and information technology (CS) and civil engineering (CE) is conducted in multiple sessions.

• Then click on the GATE Application Portal/GOAPS portal - goaps.iitg.ac.in
• Then select “New Candidate Registration” and enter the required details
• Once the registration is complete, candidates will receive an enrollment ID
• Keep it safe till the completion of the admission process. 

While filling the GATE online form 2026, candidates need to provide the following details -

• Personal details - (name, date of birth, personal contact number, name and mobile number of parent and guardian)
• Address of communication with pincode
• Eligibility degree details
• Institute college name and address with pincode
• Choice of GATE paper
• Choice of GATE exam cities
• Netbanking/credit card/debit card details

The IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 on the scheduled dates - February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The exam will take place in two shifts (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).

• Click on the application form portal link available on the homepage
• Register using your name, contact number, and email address
• Receive the enrollment ID and create a password.
• Log in and fill out the details
• Upload documents and make the payment.
• Submit and save the application form.

The last date to apply without late fees is TODAY (October 6).

Eligible candidates have to fill out the GATE application form 2026 online. There is no other mode acceptable for registration.
