IIITH invites applications for Phd programmes, apply now

Interested candidates can apply at pgadmissions.iiit.ac.in/pg_wree/ till November 20, 2022.  

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) has invited applications for PhD programmes in computer science engineering (CSE) and electronic and communications engineering (ECE). Interested candidates can apply at pgadmissions.iiit.ac.in/pg_wree/. The last date to apply is November 20, 2022.  

As per the official website, in order to become eligible for the programmes, the applicant must have completed BE/BTech/ME/MTech all branches, MSc, MCA and MA (Maths). Applicants are first screened based on their application, which includes their academic performance and curriculum vitae. Shortlisted applicants are then invited for a technical interview conducted physically at IIIT Hyderabad. Final selection is based on performance in the interview. The application fee for both programmes is INR 2,000 (non-refundable). 

How to apply for PhD programmes at IIITH 

• Visit the official link, admportal.iiit.ac.in/admissions.php 
• Click on register 
• Enter personal details such a name, date of birth, address, email id, etc
• Click on save and proceed. 
• Fill the application form and pay the required feed 
• Download the form and take a print out for future reference. 

Important Dates

It is to noted that full-time PhD students are given scholarships that provide a monthly stipend between INR 31,000 and INR 35,000 depending on the stage of the student in the PhD programme.
