IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship 2026: Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar is accepting applications for IITGN Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP) 2026. Students will be able to complete IIT Gandhinagar summer internship application form until March 5, 2026. They can fill out IITGN Summer Research Internship application 2026 online by visiting official website srip.iitgn.ac.in/registration. 

Through IIT Gandhinagar SRIP, students will get exposure to research in academic environment. These include a lecture series featuring talks by faculty and researchers, a segment called Chalk the Talk, which involves informal academic discussions or presentations, and Diaries component. IIT Gandhinagar summer internship is scheduled between May 7 and July 16, 2026. 

Who can apply for IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship 2026?

As per prescribed eligibility criteria, students in their bachelor’s or master’s degree programmes can apply for SRIP 2026. The institute has also made provisions for international students who are studying in India, allowing them to apply through a separate track under this same program. Those from engineering, sciences, humanities and other departments at their respective institutions are eligible to apply for summer internship, provided they meet basic enrollment conditions. 

IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship 2026 Stipend 

As mentioned on official website, selected interns will get a weekly stipend of INR 2,000 for a maximum of eight weeks, amounting to a total of INR 16,000 over the course of the internship. The stipend will help students manage basic living expenses during their stay at Gandhinagar.
