IIT Roorkee Partners with Nothing for Student Mentorship and Deep-Tech Innovation

IIT Roorkee has partnered with Nothing to provide students with mentorship, industry exposure and innovation opportunities.

IIT Roorkee Partners with Nothing

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has signed Memorandum of Understanding with consumer technology company Nothing during Bharat Innovates 2026. This partnership aims to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and industry-academia collaboration among students and researchers. 

As part of agreement, Nothing will provide mentorship, expert talks, industry case studies and knowledge sharing sessions for IIT Roorkee students. This will focus on areas such as deep-tech innovation, product engineering, electronic design and entrepreneurship.

Joint Design Challenge Planned

The partnership will also explore organising an Industrial Design Challenge, giving students practical exposure to consumer technology design and product development. IIT Roorkee Director Prof. K.K. Pant said that collaboration combines institute's research ecosystem.

IIT Roorkee PG Certificate in Data Science, ML and Generative AI

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has started admissions for 11th batch of its Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI. This programme is offered through Continuing Education Centre (CEC), IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with TimesPro. Candidates with bachelor's degree and minimum 50% marks are eligible. Those from engineering, technology, computer science, information technology, mathematics and related fields can apply.
