IIT Roorkee Admission 2026

IIT Roorkee PG Certificate: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has started admissions for 11th batch of its Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI. This programme is offered through Continuing Education Centre (CEC), IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with TimesPro. Candidates with bachelor's degree and minimum 50% marks are eligible. Those from engineering, technology, computer science, information technology, mathematics and related fields can apply. Also, not mandatory, IIT Roorkee recommends at least one year of work experience, preferably in technology, software or engineering sectors.

IIT Roorkee PG Certificate programme will be conducted in live online format over eight months for working professionals and graduates who want to build skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), data science and machine learning. 

Option to Choose Specialisations

Learners can choose from two specialisation tracks during programme

• Deep Learning with Image and Generative AI

• Data Engineering with Generative AI

The final module of programme focuses on specialisation and includes a capstone project. Through this project, participants will apply the concepts learned during the course to solve practical industry problems.
