Is GATE 2026 final answer key released: There’s been confusion regarding the release of the final answer key PDF. However, IIT Guwahati has confirmed that the GATE final answer key is yet to be released at GOAPS, and will be updated on the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Read below for more. 

Is GATE 2026 final answer key released: IIT Guwahati confirms

On March 16, an announcement was made regarding the release of the GATE final answer key. However, IIT Guwahati has later confirmed that the answer key will be made available soon. 

GATE 2026 office chairman, Manabendra Sarma have stated that GATE 2026 final answer key will be released soon and official notification will be uploaded at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. 

Candidates who appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering on Feb 7, 8, 14, and 15, must keep their credentials ready to access the answer key and GATE result 2026 once released. The provisional answer key was released on Feb 22, and the objection window was made available from Feb 25 to 28. 

GATE 2026 Results Release Date

IIT Guwahati will announce result on March 19. The GATE 2026 result download link will be activated at the GOAPS portal. Candidates can access their result status at login using their credentials: enrollment ID and password.  With result, IIT Guwahati will also announce GATE topper’s list and qualifying cutoff marks for all 30 branches. Candidates are advised to keep their details ready before the GATE final answer key and result are announced.
