The minimum qualifying marks as well as marks for inclusion in the JEE Advanced 2026 rank list has been announced. Candidates must obtain marks above the minimum marks in each subject and the minimum aggregate marks to qualify the exam. All those candidates who have obtained marks above the minimum qualifying marks have been declared qualified and allotted an All India Rank.

Q:   What is the cutoff for JEE Advanced 2026?

The JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff will be released with the results of JEE Advanced 2026. Until then, candidates can check below the JEE Advanced cutoff from the previous years:

The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff of the common rank list is 20.56%; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists.

All those candidates who score above the cutoff marks in their respective categories can register for JoSAA counselling to participate in the IIT seat allotment process. Note that qualifying the JEE Advaced cutoff will not guarantee a seat in the IITs. Various factors are at play while allotting seats in the IITs. These factors include the demand for a course and IIT, the number of seats on offer, the reservation criteria, etc.

Q:   Will there be any spot round of seat allocation at any of the IITs after the completion of the 6th round of seat allocation?

No, there will be no spot round of seat allocation at any of the IITs after the completion of the last round of JoSAA seat allocation.  

The IIT Roorkee has announced JEE Advanced Result 2026. The result link has been activated in the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can download their scorecard from the website by login using JEE Advanced 2026 roll number, registered mobile number and date of birth. This year, a total 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2026 out of which 1, 79,694 candidates appeared in the exam and 56,00 qualified.

JEE Advanced 2026 Topper AIR 1 to 10

The list of JEE Advanced topper 2026 has been also announced. Shubham Kumar from IIT Delhi zone is the JEE Advanced 2026 AIR 1. Arohi Deshpande is the JEE Advanced 2026 female topper with AIR 77. Candidates can check complete toppers list of JEE Advanced 2026 from the website jeeadv.ac.in.
