JEE Main April Application Form 2020 will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 7. Eligible candidates who wish to appear in JEE Main 2020, will be able to fill their application form on the official website. The last date to fill and submit the online JEE Main April application form is March 7. All those candidates who have missed the January exam can also appear for JEE Main 2020 April exam. The uploading of images and payment of the application fee will be available until March 8.
Steps to fill JEE Main 2020 April Application Form
Step 1: Register online for JEE Main April 2020 – In this step, candidates have to register online from the official website - https://jeemain.nta.nic.in with the basic details such as of the candidates to generate application number and create password with valid email ID. This application number will also be used to fill the JEE Main April application form 2020 if the candidates wish to apply for the same.
Step 2: Filling the online application form – Next, candidates have to fill information related to their personal, education, communication, parents/guardian details and about exam city and paper preferences.
Step 3: Upload scanned images/documents - At this step, candidates have to upload the scanned photograph and signature with the given specifications.
- Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format with size between 10 kb–200 kb
- Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format with size between 4 kb–30 kb
Step 4: Payment of application fees – After uploading the images, candidates have to pay the application fees of JEE Main 2020 April in online mode. Candidates can pay the application fee through Debit/Credit/Net Banking/Paytm/UPI.
Step 5: Printout of the confirmation page – After successful payment of application fee, candidates have to take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safely for further reference.
JEE Main 2020 April exam is scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11 in computer-based mode. The application form will be available for three papers – I (BTech), II (BArch) and III (BPlan). Candidates who want to take admission to BTech/BArch/BPlanning in NITs (National Institute of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology), CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions), etc. can apply for JEE Main April 2020. JEE Main is considered as preliminary examination for admission in IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology). After qualifying JEE Main, selected candidates have to appear and qualify JEE Advanced.
