JEE Main 2027 Registration: NTA Advises Candidates to Use Their Own DigiLocker Accounts

NTA has advised candidates to log in using their own credentials for DigiLocker, JanParichay or e-Pramaan (MeriPehchaan) while registering for JEE Main 2027.

According to the agency, using personal login credentials will help avoid discrepancies during identity verification and biometric authentication at subsequent stages of the application process.

Candidates should not use another person's account to complete the registration process. They should ensure that the digital identity details used during registration belong to them.

Complete DigiLocker Re-KYC Before Filling JEE Main Application Form

NTA has also advised candidates to complete Re-KYC through DigiLocker before filling out the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 application form.

The process is intended to ensure that candidates' latest details are fetched during registration. Candidates should complete the required verification before proceeding with the application to minimise the possibility of discrepancies.

Applicants should check their DigiLocker details and ensure that the information available through the platform is up to date before starting the registration process.

Name and Date of Birth Must Match Class 10 Certificate

Another important clarification in the NTA notice concerns the candidate's name and date of birth.

The agency has stated that both details entered in the JEE Main 2027 application form must match the information mentioned in the candidate's Class 10 certificate or marksheet.

Candidates should carefully check these details before submitting the form. Any mismatch between the application form and Class 10 records could lead to difficulties during document verification or other stages of the examination process. Applicants should also review all the information entered in the application form before final submission.
