According to Ramesh Batlish of FIITJEE, the JEE Main 2023 qualifying cut-off (as per NTA percentile score) for JEE Advanced 2023 for the General category students will be 88 to 80. For EWS category, it would be around 63 to 68, for OBC-NCL it would be 66 to 70.

The dropped questions can lead to an addition to marks for JEE Main 2023, Session 2 candidates. The NTA stated that full marks will be given to candidates who appeared in the exam on a specific date. “For section A, if a question is dropped then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared, irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate,”

All the 23 IITs will adopt the National Credit Framework (NCrF). This decision was taken during the IIT Council meeting that was held on April 18, 2023 at IIT Bhubaneswar.

The UGC chairman presented on NCrF and informed the council that “the National Education Policy 2020 envisions making education more holistic and effective and emphasizes the integration of general (academic) education and vocational education.
