JEE Main July 27 2021: Shift 1 over; check students’ reactions, exam analysis
The fourth day of JEE Main 2021 Session 3 held today (July 27). The candidates who attempted the paper in the first shift said the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to tough. Scroll down to know the difficulty level of the paper and the reaction of the students.
JEE Main 2021 session 3 first shift was held from 9 am to noon, whereas the evening shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per the students’ reactions, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate to tough.

Maths modertaely tough
Keshav Pranshu who appeared in the first shift at Patparganj Industrial Area JEE Main exam centre in Delhi, said, the maths section was moderately tough. There were no direct questions in maths. There were questions on complex numbers, vectors, definite integral calculus, differential equations, binomial theorem , probability and mathematical reasoning. In physics, there were question from rotational dynamics. The chemistry part was easiest. There was not much of organic chemistry. There were questions from chemical equilibrium and electrochemistry.
Maths tough, chemistry easy
Another test taker Abhinav Chauhan said, maths section was very tough and lengthy. There were questions from statistics and curves. Chemistry was easy. Majority of the questions were from NCERT. The difficulty level of physics section was moderate. In physics, there were questions on communications and semiconductor.

Students who qualify JEE Main 2021 would be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam, which is scheduled for October 3. As per IIT Kharagpur, about 2.5 lakh students will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced 2021.
The first and second sessions were conducted in February and March, respectively. The third session is being held on July 20, 22, 25 & 27 and the fourth session will be held on August 26, 27 & 31 and September 1 & 2, 2021. JEE Main is the engineering entrance exam for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Main exam is also the qualifying exam for the JEE Advanced, the only admission test for the IITs. This year, IIT Kharagpur will conduct the JEE Advanced.
