At the IIT Open House, most institutes offer campus tours and opportunities to interact with directors, deans, and current students. While most IITs are hosting the Open House online, several are opting for a hybrid format combining both online and offline sessions. IIT open house registration links are available on the official websites of the respective IITs. The events will also be streamed live on the official YouTube channels of the institutes.
NITs admit students with JEE Main ranks up to around 10,00,000 in the open and gender-neutral categories. They offer popular engineering courses such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and even Computer Science and Engineering to candidates with JEE Main ranks above 1 lakh.
There is no fee for JoSAA registration itself. However, when you are allotted a seat for the first time in any round, you will need to pay a processing fee of INR 5000 as part of the seat acceptance fee. This processing fee is included in the overall seat acceptance fee.
