The dates for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2026 is likely to be announced anytime soon. The exam is expected to be held in May third week. IIT Roorkee will be the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2026, considering the rotational criteria followed, although no official announcement has been made for this. Registrations for the exam will begin in April after the announcement of JEE Mains 2026 session 2 result. The official website of JEE Advanced exam is jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced is the exam conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in IITs. The exam is conducted annually in May. Only those candidates who score marks above the JEE Main cutoff can appear in JEE Advanced.
JEE Advanced exam is conducted online as a computer-based test. Candidates have to appear in two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2 in two shifts on a single day and qualify in both papers to be considered for admission. In both papers, questions are asked from Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
