KCET 2026 Day 2 Focus Shifts to Mathematics and Biology Today

Day 2 Focus Shifts to Maths and Biology

The day 2 of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 starts today, where students will tackle Mathematics and Biology subjects. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the remaining core subjects today with Maths scheduled from 10:30 am to 11:50 am in the morning shift, while Biology scheduled for 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm in the afternoon shift.

KCET Exam Day Guidelines for Day 2

Carry a printed copy of your KCET 2026 Admit Card and a valid Photo ID (Aadhaar or Voter ID).

Use only a Blue or Black ballpoint pen for marking the OMR sheet.

No candidates will be allowed into the exam hall once the writing time starts at 10:40 AM for the morning session or 02:40 PM for the afternoon session.Β

KCET Day 1 Feedback

The Day 1 of the KCET exam was successfully conducted yesterday and as per the initial feedback received from candidates Physics session was described as theory-heavy and tricky, moving away from traditional calculation-based problems, while Chemistry followed a similar trend, with students noting a significant emphasis on Organic Chemistry and Class 11 topics, making it moderately difficult and time-consuming.
