The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will commence the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 for the main subject from tomorrow, April 23 onwards across 745 exam centres. Following today's Kannada Language Test, close to 3.3 lakh aspirants across the state are estimated to appear for core subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology over the next two days.Β 

The test will be conducted across 2 shifts 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM and 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM. Candidates are advised to reach at least 45-60 minutes prior to the reporting time. No entry will be allowed after 10:40 AM (first shift) / 2:40 PM (second shift).

KCET Bell Timings

To ensure uniform time management, KEA follows a strict bell system. Candidates must be in their seats by the first bell.Β 

  • 1st Bell (10:20 AM / 02:20 PM): Entry into exam hall and OMR distribution starts.

  • 3rd Bell (10:40 AM / 02:40 PM): Exam writing begins. No entry permitted after this bell.

  • 7th Bell (11:50 AM / 03:50 PM): Exam is over; OMR sheets are collected.Β 

Candidates appearing in the exam during the upcoming days, must download the admit card and verify their specific centre details on their hall tickets. The admit card is accessible via the official KEA portal - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
