KCET 2026: Seat Allotment Data Ready; Online Option Entry Starts on June 10
KCET 2026 seat allotment data is ready, and the official online option entry portal opens on June 10. Get your college preference lists ready to secure your seat.
Following the declaration of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) results for the 2026 session, the exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced that the seat allotment framework is fully prepared and the crucial web-based option entry process for all eligible candidates will begin from June 10, 2026, onwards.

Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil confirmed that data coordination for engineering, medical, and allied courses is successfully completed. Out of 3,09,014 candidates who appeared in the exam, 2,92,782 secured ranks, hence making them eligible to participate in the choice-filling phase.

ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದ 3,09,014 ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 2,92,782 ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ Rank ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸೀಟು ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ದತ್ತಾಂಶ ಸಿದ್ದ ಇದ್ದು, Option ದಾಖಲಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಜೂನ್ 10ರಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

The choice filling window will allow students to log into the KEA portal and submit their preferred choices of colleges and courses in order of priority.
The choice filling will commence from June 10, 2026 onwards through the online option entry portal and candidates are advised to keep their KCET application numbers, secret keys, and tentative list of preferred colleges ready before the portal goes live. During the choice filling process they will have to enter their preferences and students must also ensure all their document verification procedures are cleared to avoid any last-minute technical blocks during choice submission.
