KCET 2026 Sports Quota Document Verification Begins at KEA Office; Limited Seats Available
KCET 2026 Sports Quota document verification started at KEA Bengaluru office. Candidates must book slots online via official KEA portal from May 7. They need to be present personally with all their original sports certificates and one set of photocopies to support their eligibility.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started document verification process for candidates seeking admission under sports quota for 2026-27. H. Prasanna, Executive Director of KEA, emphasized that candidates must strictly adhere to the revised eligibility criteria. The DV, began today at KEA headquarters in Malleshwaram, and will continue through May 7, 2026.

This verification is a critical step for athletes aiming to claim a share of reserved seats in engineering, dental, and other professional streams. The location is KEA Office, 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Officers from Sports Department and expert advisors are conducting scrutiny to ensure only eligible athletes secure seats. A final list of qualified candidates will be submitted to KEA following the review.

Each paper of KCET exam is conducted for 80 minutes. The Kannada language exam of KCET will be conducted for 60 minutes for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. KCET exam Biology and Mathematics exam will be conducted on same day while Physics & Chemistry exam will be conducted on separate day.
The exam body released the exam dates for the KCET 2026 on its official website. As per the dates, the test was conducted on April 23-24, 2026.
