Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released schedule for physical verification of original documents for CET 2026, which will start from May 11 to May 22, 2026, at the KEA headquarters in Malleswaram, Bengaluru.

Who is Eligibile for Document Verification?

The verification is mandatory for candidates who claimed eligibility under clause codes A1, B1, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, and O. However, candidates under Clause “Y” are exempted and do not need to appear for this process.

To streamline the process, KEA has made online slot booking compulsory. Candidates must visit KEA website from May 7 onwards, to reserve a specific time and date for the same. Applicants are also required to appear in person on their booked date; proxy representation is not allowed.

What Documents to Carry for Verification?

Candidates must produce the following original documents along with one set of photocopies of each -

  • CET 2026 Admit Card and Application Form

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets

  • Relevant Study Certificates

  • Parental Certificates

  • Other specific documents as outlined in e-Information Booklet based on the claimed eligibility clause.

Why is Document Verification Necessary?

The DV is mandatory because the exam body has clearly stated that only those candidates will be declared eligible for admission if they have successfully done their DV process. These candidates will be permitted to participate in online option entry for seat allotment.  For further details visit official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
