Online choice filling for KCET seat allotment 2019 round 1 commenced from June 21. Last date for candidates to fill and lock choices is June 25.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has commenced with the online choice filling process for KCET 2019 seat allotment from June 21. Candidates will be able to fill and lock choices till June 25. Candidates will be allotted seat basis their preference and availability of seats in their college and course.

The document verification process of KCET counselling 2019 commenced from June 6 and was spread across 11 days, held in multiple sessions. Candidates had to report at the allotted center basis their rank to get the documents verified. It may be noted that only verified candidates will be allocated seats during the KCET seat allotment process.

How to fill and lock choices for KCET 2019 seat allotment?

Follow the below steps in order to fill your choices for the centralized seat allotment process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of KEA

Step 2: Click on KCET 2019 seat allotment for BTech and other courses

Step 3: Enter your KCET application number and captcha code and submit

Step 4: An online form with the list of colleges and courses basis your eligibility will be displayed

Step 5: Select your preferred choices and submit

Step 6; Also take a print out of the selection list for future reference  

Before the announcement of final seat allotment results, KEA will be conducting a mock seat allotment round. The aim is to give candidates an idea about their chances of getting through the college of their choice on the basis of KCET rank. Candidates will also be given the opportunity to change or modify their preference if they are not satisfied with the mock allotment results.

KCET counselling is conducted by KEA for admission to the BTech and BPharma courses offered at colleges in Karnataka through KCET scores. The exam counselling comprises the process of document verification and seat allotment. Only those candidates who have qualified KCET 2019 will be able to participate in KCET 2019 counselling for the document verification and seat allotment process.

KCET 2019 was conducted on April 29 & 30 in offline mode. KEA had announced KCET results along with the ranks and score card on May 25.
