KEAM 2025 Exam for Engineering

Admission to engineering programs in Kerala is determined through the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM), overseen by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The engineering rank comprises an equal weighting system, where 50% of the score is derived from the normalized KEAM exam results and the remaining 50% comes from the aggregated grades in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from the final year of the plus two examinations, following a standardization procedure.

KEAM 2025 exam will be conducted in a computer-based format and will consist of a single paper for engineering aspirants, featuring a total of 150 questions. The breakdown of the question distribution for engineering aspirants is as follows: 75 questions in Mathematics, 45 questions in Physics, and 30 questions in Chemistry, with an allotted time of 180 minutes for completion. The scoring system awards four marks for each correct answer while imposing a penalty of one mark for each incorrect response.

KEAM 2025 Exam for Pharmacy

To get into the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program, students need to take the Kerala Pharmacy Entrance Examination. Their scores from this exam determine their admission, as a ranking list is created based on how well they do. For students taking the KEAM exam in 2025 who are interested in B.Pharm, the test will include 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, which must be completed in 90 minutes. For every correct answer, students will earn four marks, but they will lose one marks for each wrong answer.

KEAM 2025 for Other Courses

To get admission into various courses like MBBS (Medicine), BDS (Dental), BAMS (Ayurveda), BSMS (Siddha), BHMS (Homeopathy), BUMS (Unani), as well as programs in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Veterinary Science, Co-operation, Banking, Climate Change, and Environmental Science, along with B.Tech in Biotechnology at KAU (Kerala Agricultural University), students must take and pass the NEET-UG exam in 2025.For students interested in studying Architecture, the KEAM rank list of accepted candidates will be created by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. This list will take into account both the scores from the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the student's performance in their previous qualifications, giving equal importance to both.

The KEAM 2025 scores for the engineering and pharmacy exams will be out by May 10 and the KEAM rank lists based on the above criteria will be released by June 10 at cee.kerala gov.in. Common counselling for all candidates in the KEAM rank list will be also conducted by CEE and details will be shared on the official website.
