MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 1 Self-Reporting, Seat Acceptance & Institute Reporting Begins

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2026 seat allotment for CAP round 1. Candidates can download the MHT CET allotment letters on the official website, fe2026.mahacet.org. TheΒ MHT CET seat allotment letter confirms the college and branch allotted to students based on their merit and preferences. Students must check the allotment letters and decide whether to freeze or opt for betterment. The seat acceptance and fee payment window has been activated online and the last date for both is August 5.

Important Guidelines for MHT CAP Round 1 Allotment 2026

  • Note that candidates who have been allotted their first preference will have their seats auto-freezed. Such candidates shall not be eligible for participation in the subsequent CAP rounds.
  • Candidates who freeze the allotted seat, must report to the ARC or the candidate may scrutinize the document uploaded in online application system himself and such candidate shall make payment of seat acceptance fee himself in online mode.Β Thereafter, such candidates shall report to the allotted institute. If such candidate does not report toΒ ARC or fails to carry out self-scrutiny of the document uploaded in online applicationΒ system for confirmation of seat acceptance, their claim on the allotted seat shall standΒ forfeited automatically and the seat shall become available for fresh allotment. SuchΒ candidate shall then be not eligible for participation in the subsequent CAP rounds.
  • Candidate who have been allotted seat other than first preference and accepted the seatΒ by reporting to ARC or by self-scrutinising of the document uploaded in onlineΒ application system for confirmation of seat acceptance, shall be eligible forΒ participation in the subsequent rounds for betterment.
  • Candidate who have been allotted seat other than first preference and not accepted theΒ seat by not reporting to ARC or fails to carry out self-scrutiny of the documentΒ uploaded in online application system for confirmation of seat acceptance shall beΒ eligible for participation in the subsequent rounds.
