The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the MHT CET CAP round 1 seat allotment result 2026 for BE and BTech admissions. Candidates who participated in the first round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can now log in to the official admission portal at fe2026.mahacet.org and check the college and branch allotted to them.

The seat allotment is prepared based on candidates’ MHT CET/JEE Main merit rank, category, reservation rules, seat availability and the web options filled during the CAP round 1 choice-filling process.

How to Check MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 1 Allotment Result?

Once the result link is activated, candidates can:

• Visit the official MHT CET CAP portal.
• Log in using the Application ID and password.
• Click on the CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment link.
• Download the allotment letter and verify the allotted institute and branch.
• Complete the online seat acceptance process within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must carefully verify their allotment details and complete the online seat acceptance (self-verification) within the prescribed schedule. After accepting the seat, they will be required to report to the allotted institute with the necessary documents and admission fee to confirm their admission. Those opting for betterment can choose the relevant option during seat acceptance and participate in the subsequent CAP rounds as per the counselling rules.

Students are advised to download and save a copy of their allotment letter and complete all admission formalities before the deadline announced by the CET Cell. Those who do not receive a seat in round 1 or wish to seek an upgrade can participate in the upcoming CAP rounds according to the counselling schedule.

This year, the MHT CET engineering counselling is being conducted for 380 participating institutes offering 1,92,180 BE/BTech seats, an increase from 372 institutes and 1,77,985 seats available last year.
