MHT CET 2026: More Than 1.77 Lakh Candidates Register So Far; PCM Sees Highest Response

MHT CET 2026 Records 1.77 Lakh Registrations

MHT CET 2026 Registration: More than 1.77 lakh candidates have registered till now for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2026. According to data released by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, a total of 1,77,518 candidates have completed MHT CET 2026 registration Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and MAH MBA/MMS CET. 

Those who are yet to complete MHT CET registration 2026 must do it by February 12. Candidates can fill out MHT CET 2026 application form online at official website cetcell.mahacet.org. As per schedule, MHT CET 2026 PCM group session 1 exam will be held from April 11 to 19, 2026. The PCB group session 1 are scheduled from April 21 to 26, 2026.

MHT CET 2026 PCM Stream Records Maximum Registrations

Among three streams, MHT CET 2026 PCM has received highest number of applicants. Over 1,07,627 candidates have completed MHT CET registrations by paying application fee, while 18,760 applications are currently under processing. A total of 30,281 candidates are appearing for MHT CET for first time, whereas 77,346 candidates have opted to appear in both attempts.

MHT CET PCB Registration 2026 Cross 53,000

MHT CET 2026 PCB exam held for admissions to pharmacy, agriculture courses, has recorded 53,176 registrations, with 9,577 applications still under processing. In terms of attempts, 28,474 candidates have chosen to appear for first attempt, while 24,702 have opted for both attempts.

Category-Wise MHT CET 2026 Registrations

CET Cell data further also shows participation across categories. For MHT CET 2026 PCM and PCB exams combined, 7 candidates have registered under ‘Other’ gender category and 359 candidates have registered under orphan category. Apart from this, 394 candidates have registered under Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
