VJTI 2026 Spot Admission: 70 Vacant Seats Announced Across 9 BTech Programmes
The VJTI institute-level admission is ongoing for both Maharashtra state and All India candidates. The authorities have announced the branch-wise vacancy for VJTI spot round admission 2026. There are 70 seats for admission to different courses cross all categories.
VJTI Spot Admission 2026: 70 Vacant Seats Announced
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, has released the provisional vacant seat matrix for MHT CET VJTI ACAP BTech admissions. As per the seat matrix, 70 seats are available for admission through the institute-level spot round. The vacant seats will be offered to eligible candidates through the Institute Level Spot/ACAP admission process. VJTI has scheduled the first round of institute-level spot admissions for September 11 and 12, 2026. A second round will be conducted on September 13, 2026, if vacant seats remain available.

The institute is conducting the spot admissions on a merit basis. VJTI offers nine first-year BTech programmes, with a sanctioned intake of 60 seats in each programme for the 2026-27 academic year.

The institute has specifically clarified that seats becoming vacant during Round 1 because a VJTI-admitted candidate cancels their admission after securing a seat at another institute will not be filled during Round 1 on September 11 and 12. These seats will instead be considered for Round 2 on September 13. Candidates who do not secure admission in Round 1 should therefore continue to check the VJTI admission portal for the Round 2 vacancy position and further instructions.
Candidates participating in the VJTI Institute Level Spot/ACAP Round should keep their original documents and required admission-related documents ready. Admission will be subject to candidate merit, eligibility and availability of seats in the respective programme.
