SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 2 Slot Booking Starts Tomorrow

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will start the SRMJEEE 2026 phase 2 slot booking tomorrow. The facility to book slot will be available through SRMJEEE login. All registered candidates have to book a slot to appear in the exam. Slot booking is an essential step to appear in the entrance test without which candidates can not take the exam. It’s a free, one time process which allots a fixed exam date and shift to candidates during which they have to appear in the exam.

To book a slot, candidates have to login to the website using their application number and date of birth. Upon login, candidates will see all available exam dates and shifts. They have to chose one their preferred exam date and shift and confirm their preference. One the preference is submitted, candidates will receive the confirmation email with details of the slot allotted to candidates. Candidates must note that the slot once booked can not be changed, so the selection of slots must be done carefully.

A: 

SRMJEEE is held in online proctored mode. This means candidates can take the exams from their homes and they do not have to visit any exam center for taking the exam. Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer's desktop, webcam video and audio. In Proctored Online Exam, you will be under constant observation during the entire duration of the test via artificial intelligence tools and live monitoring by the proctors. Any suspected activity will lead to the immediate termination of exam. The AI tools will be able to detect any movement of face or eyeballs and highlight the same automatically. Thus, the candidate will be under constant vigilance of proctor through live feed to deter any suspicious activity of the candidate.

The total marks in SRMJEEE is revised from 125 to 130 marks and mode of the exam is online remote proctored.

SRMJEEE is an annual entrance test conducted by SRMIST to shortlist candidates for various technical and non-technical courses for its participating campuses. As per exam pattern, the test is held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. The question paper consist of 125 MCQs based on the syllabus of Class 11th and 12th for PCM/B and English & Aptitude. 

SRMJEEE Phase 2 exam 2026 will be conducted from June 10 to 15. The exam will be held online as home-based remote-proctored test which candidate can take from any place of their choice. There are certain requirements related to computer/laptop configuration and internet connectivity which has to be fulfilled to take the test.
