TNEA 2019 Counselling Round 1 for general stream started

Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu (DoTE) has started the counselling process of TNEA 2019 for general stream. The authority is conducting Round 1 of TNEA counselling from rank 1 to 9872. Students with an aggregate score range from 200 to 178 will have to attend the counselling in Round 1. Eligible candidates will have to make the initial deposit before July 10. The Round 2 will be held for students with an aggregate score range from 177.5 to 150 will be conducted from July 8. The last date to pay the initial deposit for these candidates is July 12 (5 pm). Round 3 will be conducted from July 13 to 17 while Round 4 will start from July 18 and will continue till July 22.

The TNEA choice filling 2019 for Round 1 will start from July 8. The tentative seat allotment will be released on July 11 while the final seat allotment will be declared on July 13. Check TNEA counselling schedule here!

The authority had earlier conducted for differently abled category candidates, special category in online mode from June 25 to 28. The authority had released the TNEA rank list on June 20. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the rank list are eligible for TNEA choice filling 2019.

While filling the choices, the candidates will have to select as per their preference since it will be taken into consideration during TNEA seat allotment. The list of candidates will be prepared solely based on the merit list prepared by the authority, choices filled and category of the candidate.
